Bring classroom learning alive for all ages with curriculum-linked workshops hosted at our museum, or outreach visits to your venue. From life during the Great Fire of London to People Who Help Us, your group will get hands-on with history and the role of the emergency services.

From scout groups working towards badges or cadets wishing to learn more about the emergency services, we offer a range of options for uniformed groups including sleepovers. We will work closely with you to ensure your visit links in with your learning requirements.

Are you brave enough to explore the museum at night? Paranormal groups can hire our building on Friday and Saturday nights from 20:00 to 02:00 to undertake their own investigation. We regularly welcome a host of prominent paranormal groups and have even played host to the famous Most Haunted.

Our two conference rooms offer a unique venue for your meeting or event, giving guests the opportunity to explore our Grade II listed former police, fire and ambulance station. Rooms are available for both day and night events and we can cater for groups of up to 90.

Celebrate your child's big day with us. A birthday party at NESM gives you a dedicated party room with the option of catering plus the chance for all your guests to enjoy everything the museum has to offer. We can host parties from 10.00-12.30 and 13.00-15.30 on weekends and during school holidays.
